GRANDTHEFTAUTO;BALLAD OF GAY TONY

The upcoming Grand Theft Auto IV downloadable content, The Ballad of Gay Tony, is predicted to sell big, if Wedbush-Morgan's video game analyst du jour Michael Pachter has anything to say about it.

In an interview with VG247, Pachter says that the new add-on, set for a Fall release, will sell big time, possibly outpacing the previous Grand Theft Auto: The Lost and Damned DLC (which broke day-one sales records on Xbox Live and has rumored sales well over 1 MM) and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for Nintendo DS.

This comes on the heels of Grand Theft Auto parent company, Take Two's announcement that their slate of big-name games (you know, all the ones we're dying to play) will all be pushed until 2010. That includes, Bioshock 2, Mafia II, Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne 3. We hope Gay Tony will be able to pick up the slack as we have our hopes dashed about playing any of these other games this year. Here's lookin' at you, big T.
